About Lin San Temple In the early 1970s, Venerable Seang Heng (常恒法师) spearheaded the renovation project of Lin San Temple. In 1973, he held the “Lin San Temple Reconstruction Ceremony,” during which the temple flourished under his leadership. It became increasingly popular, attracting many followers who came to worship Buddha or participate in Buddhist classes. Additionally, Venerable Seang Heng actively engaged in various activities, including conducting ceremonial prayer services, supporting charities at orphanages and elderly homes, and offering Dharma lessons for children, among others.

70年代初，常恒法师发起了灵山寺的修缮工程。1973年，他主持了“灵山寺重建仪式”。在常恒法师的带领下，灵山寺逐渐兴盛，吸引了众多信众前来礼佛或参与佛学课程。此外，常恒法师还积极参与各类活动，包括主持祈福法会、支持孤儿院和养老院的慈善事业，以及为儿童提供佛法课程等。

Rebuild of Lin San Temple
Twenty years ago, Lin San Temple was declared an unsafe structure and required a complete rebuild. Challenges such as foundational damage and insufficient funding made reconstruction difficult, but Venerable Seang Heng (常恒法师) remained committed to rebuilding the temple until his passing in 2017. Thanks to the community’s unwavering support and successful fundraising efforts, the dream of rebuilding Lin San Temple has finally become a reality. Now located at 27 Lorong 12 Geylang, Singapore 399004, the newly rebuilt Lin San Temple (灵山寺) is a fully air-conditioned, three-story Buddhist temple. It offers a serene, elegant environment for devotees, featuring luxurious freehold columbarium niches and ancestral tablets.

灵山寺重建
20年前，灵山寺被评定为危楼，需要彻底重建。由于地基损坏和资金不足等挑战，重建过程一度陷入困境，但常恒法师始终坚持重建寺庙的信念，直至2017年他圆寂。在社区的鼎力支持和成功的筹款活动下，重建灵山寺的梦想终于成为现实。如今，灵山寺坐落于新加坡芽笼12巷27号，是一座全新重建的三层佛教寺庙，配备全空调设施。寺内环境宁静优雅，为信众提供舒适的空间，并设有豪华的永久产权骨灰塔位和祖先牌位。

Lin San Temple Interior Design

The new Lin San Temple is 3-stories high, fully air-conditioned.

Here an air of awe and calmness greets you by a 2-stories tall Buddhas as you enter the main hall of Lin San Temple. At the back of the Buddha is another hall where the Columbarium Niches and Ancestral Tablets/Pedestals are located; subdivided into Dynasty 1, Dynasty 2 and Dynasty 3.

Dynasty 1: is the Columbarium Niche suite. It has 9 Levels.

Dynasty 2: is the Ancestral Tablets/Pedestals suite. It has 15 Levels, split into 3 sections.

Dynasty 3: is the Columbarium Niche suite. It has 9 Levels.
